Welcome to Pocket Style AI. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. About the Service

Pocket Style AI is an AI-powered personal styling service that generates outfit recommendations based on your preferences. Recommendations are generated by artificial intelligence and are suggestions only — we do not guarantee the availability, price, or suitability of any suggested items.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use our services. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information during registration
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

4. Free & Paid Tiers

Free: 3 AI Looks total (one-time), 5 Style Bestie chats (lifetime). No credit card required.
Student: R59/month — 40 AI Looks / month, 100 Style Bestie chats / month. Requires a valid student email.
Pro: R129/month — 120 AI Looks / month, 300 Style Bestie chats / month.
Pro+: R249/month — 300 AI Looks / month, unlimited Style Bestie chats.
Top-ups: One-off credit packs (R39 – R349) that never expire. Stack on any plan, including Free.

5. Pricing, Billing & Auto-Renewal

All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable
Prices are subject to change. We may adjust pricing with 30 days' notice via email
Subscriptions automatically renew monthly on the same date until you cancel
You authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for recurring subscription fees
Payments are processed securely by Paystack. We do not store your card details
If payment fails, we will notify you and retry. After 3 failed attempts, your subscription may be suspended

6. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Profile page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
No partial refunds are given for unused days in the current billing period
One-off credit top-ups are non-refundable once purchased
In terms of the South African Consumer Protection Act, you have a 7-day cooling-off right for new subscriptions. Contact us within 7 days of your first charge for a full refund
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days

7. Affiliate Links & Third-Party Sites

Our service contains links to third-party retailer websites. We are not responsible for the content, products, services, privacy policies, or practices of these third-party sites. Purchases made through affiliate links are subject to the respective retailer's terms. Prices shown in AI recommendations are estimates and may differ from actual retailer prices.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Pocket Style AI, including text, graphics, logos, AI-generated images, and software, is the property of Pocket Style AI or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
Interfere with or disrupt the service
Scrape, copy, or redistribute our content without permission

10. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of our service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Please review it carefully.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:

The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
AI-generated recommendations will be perfectly accurate
Linked products will be available or at the stated price

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pocket Style AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the website at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
